About the brand｜オメガ

1848年、スイス・ラ・ショー・ド・フォン。ルイ・ブランの工房が始まりです。息子のルイ＝ポールとセザールが1894年に仕上げた、部品が完全互換の19リーニュ・キャリバーの名がオメガで、1903年に社名となりました。

1932年からオリンピックの公式計時を担当。1965年にNASAが有人飛行用にスピードマスターを認定し、1969年のアポロ11号に同行しました。

クォーツ化でSSIHは1970年代後半に傾き、1983年にASUAGと統合。現在はスウォッチグループの中核で、1999年のコーアクシャル脱進機を軸に据えます。
