Ref.E877 was announced in 1972 and became known affectionately as the Memovox Snowdrop.

Alongside the Memovox Polaris II and the Memovox GT, its highlights on the dial and its richly curved form embody the aesthetic of the 1970s: large, bold and colourful.

The last of the eight Memovox collections produced between 1970 and 1972.

Its inventive lines are the crystallisation of the creativity a Grande Maison designer held, and of the engineering of watchmakers who kept pushing past their limits.

Housed in a one-piece case in which case and back are integrated, the black dial carries a railway minute track, giving the legibility that makes setting the alarm easy.

— The beat of innovation: calibre 916 —

Calibre 916 was the first alarm movement to use the high-speed Speedbeat balance at 28,800 vibrations per hour, which Jaeger-LeCoultre announced in 1969.

Unlike the earlier bumper system, it was the first automatic alarm watch with a freely rotating rotor — an innovative heart combining accuracy with convenience.

Only 2,000 of this scarce model were produced, and it does more than announce the hour: it marks a poetic rhythm in daily life.
