SWANK Gilt Dial Chronograph cal. Landeron 248 / Reverse Panda

Sharp lugs and case, unthinned by polishing.

A complex telemeter scale is drawn on the gilt dial, and luminous paint in harmony with the aged tone of the hands keeps the watch as it once was.

Concentric circles are cut into the pure silver-coloured sub-dials.

They are in harmony with the reverse panda dial and shine exactly when they take the light.

The movement is Cal. Landeron 248.

Landeron produced cam-actuated chronograph movements into the 1970s and, alongside Valjoux and Venus, powered a great many chronographs.

On an ordinary chronograph the upper pusher starts and stops and the lower one resets; on this model, stop and reset are both handled by the lower pusher at four o'clock.
