— A line of masterpieces —

The Mido Multifort was produced from the 1930s through the 1970s, taking on many forms as the decades changed.

Manual and automatic, round cases and square ones: that very variety is what fixed the Multifort in people's memory as the watch that represents Mido.

The Multifort, the masterpiece that stands for MIDO. Fitted with the shock-protected Cal.917P in full-rotor Powerwind specification, for high winding efficiency. A beautifully lustrous silver dial with raised dolphin hands and indexes. A robust screw-back water-resistant case guarding a watch built on the philosophy of measuring time accurately.

— The quiet of Powerwind —

This example is protected by a streamlined screw-back water-resistant case and houses the shock-protected, full-rotor automatic Cal.917P.

The Powerwind specification, which raised both durability and winding efficiency, holds a quiet strength and carries the passage of time dependably.

— The beauty of its face —

Upright indexes and dolphin hands cross over a silver dial, glowing softly as they take the light.

A metal minute track set around the periphery marks the flow of time delicately, leaving the deep resonance only a vintage watch has.

— The aesthetics of use —

The caseback is a screw-back, strong on both sealing and water resistance.

What lives in that robust construction is the trust that supports daily life, and a sense of beauty that continues past its own era.

Classic and refined, it sits equally well with business and casual dress, present without ever raising its voice.

— MIDO as a philosophy —

MIDO was founded in Bienne in 1918 by Georges Schaeren.

The name comes from the Spanish "yo mido" — I measure — and holds within it the philosophy of measuring time accurately.

The Multifort is the poetic crystallisation of that idea, and it goes on quietly speaking for the beauty of measuring time.
