— Innovation in shock resistance —
Wyler is little known in Japan but is a long-established house, founded in the 1890s by Paul Wyler.
In 1927 it invented its own shock-protection system, Incaflex. Breaking through the barrier of shock resistance took it into the top rank of brands of the day.
Shock protection in watches generally means Incabloc — but Wyler has used Incaflex consistently throughout.
The Dynastar, in which the engineering of the long-established house of Wyler is concentrated. Fitted with the patented in-house shock protection system, Incaflex. Blackened baton indexes and a star motif at six o'clock. A rare original mesh bracelet completing a monochrome aesthetic. A hidden masterpiece with vintage depth and understated dignity.
— The distinctive "Wyler balance" —
The movement is Cal.WH217R, based on ETA's Cal.2472 and fitted with a balance carrying Wyler's own Incaflex shock protection.
Where arms normally run straight to the centre of the balance wheel, in Incaflex they curve, acting as springs so that the balance wheel itself absorbs shock. The mechanism carries a supple strength within its own structure.
This unusual construction is also called the "Wyler balance" in Japan, and it stands for the brand's particular engineering.
— The original Wyler bracelet —
Blackened baton indexes and baton hands sit on a silver dial, with a date at three.
The small star motif at six adds a quiet gleam entirely fitting the Dyna-Star name.
The original mesh bracelet, now rare, is fitted. The chic quality the monochrome palette produces gives the wrist a quiet dignity.
