This model carries a tide meter, allowing relative sea level to be read using a tide table.

Rotate the bezel with the crown at seven o'clock and set it to the time of the last high tide, and you can read the present or coming sea level and the timing of the next high tide.

Relative sea level is shown on the blue band around the outside of the dial.

This model's chronograph also has a centre seconds hand with a 60-minute totaliser, making four central hands in all — a highly usable arrangement.
