RXW Moon Stars / Triple Calendar Moonphase, Black Mirror Dial

RockX solid Watch, known as RXW.

A brand produced by Ken Sato, owner of Ken Trading, who has created many watches that got people talking.

The full line-up at the time consisted of six versions: black, white, blue, ivory, Arabic white and Arabic black.

The Moon Stars, with triple calendar and moonphase, is a special model within the RXW range and the only one outside the sports models.

The dial is black, in a mirror-dial style.

A moonphase and triple calendar module by Dubois Dépraz, which supplied movements to Rolex, is built onto the Swiss ETA automatic 2824-2, making it a 2824-2c.

There are pushers for day, month, date and moon age.

The crystal is a domed plastic one, which gives a vintage feeling.

With calendar pushers, a 6mm star crown and a red point on the seconds hand, it is a highly complete collection piece with a commanding presence.

It is currently fitted with an aftermarket extension bracelet, and the original RXW leather strap and buckle are included.
