In 1952, when aviation had no control towers and no radar, the first Navitimer was born as the world's first chronograph with a rotating flight slide rule.

Pilots wore this instrument and flew while calculating speed and fuel consumption.

This Navitimer 92 is defined by its small 38mm case, which feels compact and notably slim next to current models over 40mm.

The rotating slide rule is not the usual one either: it carries a telemeter only.

A telemeter is a function for measuring distance using the difference between the speed of light and the speed of sound.

Design-wise, it is a chronograph model with a slightly retro feel.
