The crown at four is placed so as to dissolve into the case line.

The idea that an automatic needs no frequent handling is what made a smooth round case possible.

The silver dial carries distinctive cylindrical indexes, which create depth and legibility as the light moves.

— The character of age —

The caseback is struck with the dolphin mark, the symbol of water resistance and reliability.

The texture deepened by the years, and the contrast shown by a gold-coloured movement, carry into the present the appeal of an era when the mechanical watch was at its height.
