— An age of precision and elegance —

A 37.5mm Tissot monopusher chronograph made in the 1930s, when the chronograph was an indispensable tool for engineers, scientists and sportsmen.

It embodies the brand's precise timing performance and its commitment to functional elegance.

An exceptionally rare Tissot monopusher chronograph made in the 1930s. Fitted with the Lemania 15TL, a granular-gilt movement identical to Omega's Cal.33.3. Bauhaus design where telemeter and snail tachymeter cross. An extremely rare flexible-lug specification, evidence of joint production in the SSIH era. Commanding patina and supreme historical value, speaking quietly for more than eighty years.

— The functional beauty of dual scales —

The dual telemeter and snail tachymeter scales are restrained Bauhaus design answering the needs of professionals who required accurate distance and speed measurement.

The result works equally in formal settings and in the field.

— A watch that stands for Tissot's golden age —

Tissot influenced the Omega and Lemania chronograph models that would go on to build legendary standing over the following decades.

This model stands, for Tissot, at the heart of its golden age of mechanical chronograph development.

— Cal. Lemania 15TL = Cal. OMEGA 33.3 —

Fitted with the Lemania 15TL (= OMEGA Cal.33.3), with granular gilt finishing on the mainplate and bridges.

At Omega it was adopted as Cal.33.3 and has a history in military and water-resistant chronographs.

The large 15-ligne (33.3mm) movement is a column-wheel design, smooth in lever operation and highly durable.

Both monopusher and two-pusher versions exist, and the granular gilt finishing is beautiful in the way old movements are.

There is as yet no shock protection, and the balance is of the classical screwed type.

— A lineage of cooperation drawn by SSIH —

Examples with flexible lugs are exceptionally rare.

This is said to be a prototype, made in the period when Omega, Tissot and Lemania — subsidiaries within the SSIH group (Société Suisse pour l'Industrie Horlogère) — maintained their separate brands while producing jointly and offering models that overlapped completely.

As a crystallisation of cooperation across brand boundaries, it carries both scarcity and historical value today.

The visible patina speaks for eighty years of history — an appealing piece for collectors who value vintage character.
