— Two great names, at one cuff —

The 1960s. Dunhill, which stands for British manners, and Jaeger-LeCoultre, the watchmaker's watchmaker. Where the two met, this exceptionally scarce Memovox was born.

"DUNHILL" is printed proudly on a refined ivory-toned dial, while the two crowns on the case flank carry Jaeger-LeCoultre's JL.

— A mechanical alarm —

The small triangular indicator on the central disc is the alarm pointer that once kept travelling gentlemen to time. At the set hour a hammer inside the case sounds a note that is pleasant and faintly melancholy — an art of sound left behind by the golden age of mechanical watchmaking, and one no digital alarm has ever matched.

— A bumper automatic —

At its heart is the historic calibre K825. Rather than turning through 360 degrees, the rotor swings between two springs to wind the mainspring — a bumper automatic. Every movement of the arm sends a faint knock through the case, a sensation only a vintage watch offers.

— Across the decades —

A gold case softened beautifully by age, and classical Arabic indices. More than fifty years on, neither the brightness nor the function has gone. A historic piece, and the kind you meet once.
