A Mahara (MHR) Sparviero has arrived.

Mahara was a connoisseur's brand started by an Italian designer around 2000.

It was imported into Japan by PX and often featured in Mono Magazine at the time, so many people will know it.

Incidentally, the company name Mahara comes from the maharaja, the Indian magnate.

"Sparviero" is the name of an Italian bomber, and the dial design is based on its cockpit instruments.

The case design, recalling an antique watch of the 1950s, is distinctive.

Mahara is mostly found on leather straps, but this example has its original stainless bracelet — worth having for that alone.
