— A chronograph wearing architectural beauty —
Ebel's Le Modulor Chronograph is an elegant sports chronograph inspired by the architect Le Corbusier's theory of human proportion.
It is also known as a model the former Japan international footballer Hidetoshi Nakata wore, in the orange-dial version.
— Usefulness fused with dignity —
A distinctive design with five screws set into a rounded hexagonal case, holding softness and strength together.
About 40mm across.
With a chronograph, small seconds and date, it is well balanced and suited to daily wear.
— A silky bracelet —
Ebel's own silky bracelet, with each link built from five sections.
It achieves both comfort and quality of feel.
— Lemania's last movement —
The movement is the Lemania Cal.1350, known at Ebel as the 137.
The Lemania Cal.1350 is regarded as the last serious new design Lemania produced as an independent movement maker.
After the Swatch Group acquisition in 1999 and the integration with Breguet in 2003, it is now part of the technical foundation of the Breguet manufacture.
— As a collector's piece too —
This model was a hit in the 1990s but few now circulate, and it has become rare in Japan.
Examples with box and guarantee are well regarded.
