ROLEX Air-King ref.114200 cal.3130 / 34mm

The Air-King is popular as a unisex model, with simple functionality — no calendar — and, at 34mm, the smallest case among the men's models.

Announced in 2007, ref.114200 kept the stylish case while adopting a rounded bezel, raising presence and quality despite the 34mm size.

The bracelet construction was also renewed: the central link parts, hollow on the previous model, became solid for greater robustness, and the clasp changed to an Oyster clasp with a movable tip, combining usability with a better quality of feel.

The movement changed to the Cal.3130, a COSC-certified chronometer also used in the Explorer I (ref.114270) and the Submariner (ref.14060M), improving accuracy and reliability.

Refinement in the details raised the specification, making it more than complete enough as Rolex's entry model.

In 2014 a minor change removed the "Air-King" logo from every dial, and the Air-King series effectively ended production.

It was then relaunched as the 34mm Oyster Perpetual series.
