The first Grand Seiko, ref.J14070 with the upright logo, has arrived.
Since production began in 1960 as Seiko's highest line, Grand Seiko has always been made by gathering the newest and best technology available.
It carries Suwa Seikosha's own movement, calibre 3180, built in pursuit of something higher still on the technology established with the Marvel and the Crown.
It was Japan's first chronometer model, sold with a rate certificate after passing an in-house 15-day test based on the standards of the Swiss chronometer association.
It has the scarce original Grand Seiko First bracelet and buckle.
