The 1970s, when humanity had its eyes on space. Rado's SpaceWing gave that energy a shape: a cushion case drawn in graceful curves that settles onto the wrist while still making itself felt.

Behind the case back is calibre ETA 2824, one of the great automatic movements, generously fitted with 25 jewels and still keeping reliable time after nearly fifty years. The seahorse medallion on the case back was the period mark of Rado's water resistance and Swiss manufacture.

Supplied on its substantial original mesh bracelet, together with the "RADO YEARS AHEAD" box and the price tag of the day. Condition and provenance both suggest a watch that has travelled here from its own decade rather than through the market.
