The scarab case.
A sculptural design recalling the skeleton of a crustacean.
The switch between hairline and mirror on the lugs is a trace of a craftsman's hand, left exactly as it was.
The dial is white porcelain.
It keeps its freshness, in a miraculous state of preservation without a single crack.
A century since manufacture is almost upon it, and it has not faded or lost any of its force.
Beautiful blued steel hands.
In superb condition.
Their shape draws a curve that seems to accompany time rather than point at it.
Cal.26.5: a stable beat and a lineage.
Fitted with the Cal.26.5 SOB T2.
Introduced in 1926, it was the robust and stable movement that carried Omega before the 30mm calibre.
It came in many variations, including versions with shock protection and with centre seconds, and speaks for the high technical capability of its day.
