2. These Terms are subject to change without notice. In this case, the changed terms and conditions will be applied from the time the change is made known, so the customer agrees in advance to this point as well.
3. If there are any special notes in writing at the time of the estimate, etc., those notes will take precedence.
4. If you are a minor, please use this service after obtaining the consent of your parent or other legal representative.
Article 2 (Definition)
(1) Repair: Refers to watch repair, overhaul, battery replacement, and new finish.
2) Cancellation: Refers to cases in which a customer submits a watch to us for an estimate but does not request repair, or cancels the request after requesting repair.
2 Repair flow Article 3 (repair reception)
1. Watchtender accepts requests for watch repair by delivery. Since we cannot confirm the condition of the watch (scratches, deformation, discoloration, etc.) together with the customer, we conduct an inspection upon receipt and an inspection before shipment. Doing.
2. When packing and sending the watch from the customer, we ask that the product be packed in the best possible way so that the product will not be damaged. When the customer sends the watch, if it is clearly inadequately packed or if there is a problem with the strength of the packing material, even if the watch is damaged, Watchtender will not compensate for it. Please note that this may not be possible. In addition, we ask that you do not send anything other than the watch itself, as accessories such as boxes will also be sent in the same way.
Article 4 (Quotation)
1. In principle, Watchtender will provide a free estimate. However, depending on the watch, we may not be able to give you an estimate, and it may be a manufacturer's estimate (charged). In this case, the manufacturer's estimate fee will be borne by the customer even if the customer cancels the repair.
2. The quotation is valid for one month from the date of quotation. If you do not receive a formal repair request after one month, it will be automatically canceled.
Article 5 (Repair Fees)
1. The breakdown of the repair fee is the technical fee, parts fee, handling fee, etc. We will invoice you for the amount stated in the quote you have approved.
2. It is extremely rare that new defects are found during work, such as defective parts that are only discovered during disassembly and cleaning or after cleaning. In that case, we will temporarily suspend the work and issue an estimate for additional repairs regarding the additional charges required to repair the defect and the estimated delivery date after the extension. If you are satisfied with the content and the price, you will be asked to pay the additional fee and work will resume.
3. If you are unsatisfied with the additional repair quote, you will have the option to continue with the original quote or cancel the entire order. Even in the latter case, we will charge 100% of the initial estimated repair cost. However, if an additional estimate requires the replacement of important parts, we will cancel the entire request because we cannot accept the order based on the initial estimate alone. In this case, the watch will be returned free of charge, but please understand that we cannot guarantee its operation.
4. Repairs will basically start after payment of the amount stated in the estimate or additional estimate.
5. When the customer cancels the service due to personal reasons, when Watchtender requests repairs for the watch that involve work that Watchtender cannot undertake (see Article 8), or when the watch is returned due to loss of contact with the customer. The customer will be responsible for any shipping costs incurred due to deviation from the normal repair process. For other cases, please refer to the quotation.
Article 6 (Handing over of watches)
1. The watch will be returned to the registered address.
2. When shipping, we will ship to the address you registered at the time of your request. Even if the delivered item fails to arrive due to an unknown address, etc., it will be deemed to have been returned to the customer when it is sent to that address.
3. Watchtender is exempted from responsibility at the time of requesting transportation with an appropriate shipping company and shall not be responsible for any damage caused during transportation. For compensation for damage that occurs during transportation, please contact the shipping company.
3 Notes on Repair Article 7 (Repair Days)
1. The number of repair days required will vary depending on factors such as the peculiarity of each repair and the number of days required to procure parts.
2. Please note that the estimated number of days required for a normal overhaul is as follows (use this as a guide only).

Article 8 (Work that cannot be contracted)

Article 9 (Limit of repair)
Even if it is determined that the repair is possible in the estimate, it may not be possible due to the progress of the repair. In this case, you will not be charged. Also, while we will do our best to repair the product, please understand that it is impossible to restore the product to the same condition as when it was new before applying for repair.
Article 10 (Limits on Parts Procurement)
1. There are some watch parts that are difficult to procure, such as watch parts that have been out of production for a considerable number of years, and even current watch parts that cannot be procured depending on the part. On the other hand, even if genuine parts are not available, it may be possible to use substitute parts or newly created parts for machine parts. At the time of the estimate, we will explain these details and carry out the repair in a manner that you are satisfied with. If the repair is technically difficult, or if we are unable to meet the customer's request, we will explain the reason and return the watch.
2. In rare cases, during repair, parts may become damaged due to aging, and the necessary parts cannot be procured, so we may not be able to return the watch as a finished product. Article 11 (Parts)
1. In principle, the replaced parts will be returned to the customer.
2. However, depending on the watch, it may not be possible to return the parts depending on the content of the repair, such as when it is necessary to trade in the parts from the manufacturer as a part procurement condition. please give me.
Article 12 (Clock Accuracy)
When repairing, the error of the clock is kept within ±15 seconds per day, but if there is such a difference at the time of requesting repair, it may not be possible to reduce the deviation to within ±15 seconds regardless of the repair. Please understand that.
Article 13 (dial, belt, etc.)
There may be cases where deterioration, corrosion, damage, rust, or peeling progresses while the watch is in storage, and the watch (including the dial and accessories) cannot be returned to its original state. In addition, although we pay close attention to the work, there are cases where the watch is unavoidably scratched or damaged during the repair work, even if it is handled properly. For this reason, Watchtender will not be held responsible for any peeling or cracking of the dial, cracks or damage to the belt, or restoration of the exterior condition of parts, etc. to its original state.
Article 14 (Scratches and stains)
At Watchtender, after the watch arrives at our store, we take pictures of the condition of the watch's exterior. However, it is not possible to completely record all conditions, such as small scratches and stains, which may not remain in the photo depending on the angle of the light at the time of shooting. If you are concerned about fine scratches, please bring it to the manufacturer.
Article 15 (Exterior finish)
The Watchtender's exterior finish is either light polish, full polish or wash only, depending on the customer's request. Please note that deep scratches and discoloration may remain even after full polishing. In addition, stains on the dial cannot be removed. If you have any requests regarding the replacement, regeneration and finishing of exterior parts, please let us know before proceeding with the repair.
Article 16 (Regarding the Repair of Seriously Broken Watches)
1. Watches that are antique, broken by dropping or submerged in water, severely damaged parts, leaking battery fluid, corroded baseplate, etc., may not work even after repair, and may stop working in a few weeks. Due to this possibility, repairs may not be accepted, repair warranties may be shortened, or repair warranties may not be provided.
2. If the watch does not work and cannot be repaired, no repair fee will be charged.
3. If the watch works again after repair, but it does not work again, we will repair it again, but in the case of a major failure, we will not be able to attach the warranty, so re-repair will be charged.
4. If the watch remains inoperable due to re-repair, no repair fee will be charged for re-repair. In this case, the repair fee for the first repair already received will not be refunded.
5. If there is no report of serious failure such as drop, submersion, battery fluid leakage, etc. at the time of requesting an estimate, we may discard the original estimate and make a new estimate without warranty. In this case, cancellation is not possible.
Article 17 (Repair of watches filled with water)
When repairing a watch that has water inside, during the drying and overhaul work, the dial may rust or discolor, corrode, or the letters and patterns may disappear. Please note that there is

If you request repairs from the manufacturer, a handling fee will be charged in addition to the manufacturer's estimated cost. Estimates, repair details, warranty period, and security details are all based on the agency's standards, so Watchtender does not guarantee repairs.
4 Warranty and Compensation for Repair Article 19 (Repair Warranty)
1. If the same defect occurs in the same place as the repaired item after the repair is completed, we will repair it free of charge. The warranty period for repairs is, in principle, 6 months from the date of notification of completion. The warranty period for antique clocks is 3 months in principle. However, if there is a defective part, the cost of the replacement part will be borne by the customer.
2. The warranty period may be shortened or the warranty may not be attached depending on the structure and condition of the watch (rust, corrosion, damage, etc.) and parts availability. However, even within the warranty period, if the parts required for replacement cannot be procured, the product may be returned as unrepairable.

4. Re-repairs under the re-repair guarantee are valid only if the watch arrives at our company during the warranty period. In addition, the re-repair guarantee is valid only when the request is made by the applicant himself/herself.
Article 20 (Not covered by warranty)
The following items are not covered by the warranty and will be charged even during the warranty period.
(1) Failures caused by parts not replaced at the time of repair: Failures caused by parts other than those replaced at the time of repair are not covered by the warranty. If the mainspring, circuit, coil, etc. are not replaced at the time of repair, they will not be covered by the warranty. We will not replace the mainspring at the time of overhaul unless it is broken, weakened due to deterioration, deformed or cracked, but since it is a part whose life cannot be measured, it may suddenly break. ⑥ How to use: Failures and damage caused by non-normal usage, such as symptoms and damage caused by dropping, etc., are not covered by the warranty.
⑦ Indications due to sensory problems: If the content of the failure that the customer is not satisfied with cannot be objectively confirmed numerically by measuring equipment, etc. (scratches, degree of dirt, accuracy, etc. sensory issues), it is not covered by the Watchtender warranty.
⑧Battery replacement: In the case of battery replacement only, we cannot guarantee any malfunctions after replacement. There may be cases where the battery stops or delays after the battery is replaced, or the battery runs out prematurely. ⑨ Severe failure: Repairing a watch with a severe failure will not be covered by the warranty.

Article 21 (Special notes on waterproofness)
1. Overhaul includes work aimed at restoring waterproof performance based on individual regulations, but it may not be possible to restore due to deterioration over time, etc., and the product may become non-waterproof. If there are any conditions regarding waterproofness, be sure to let us know before proceeding with the repair.
2. In addition, when the repair is completed, we will perform a simple test of waterproof performance by air pressurization. If the watch is water resistant to 5 atmospheres or more, it will be tested to 5 atmospheres, and if the watch is not specified, it will be tested to 3 atmospheres. However, the waterproof performance during future use will not be covered by the warranty. Also, please note that re-repairs due to water entering the product are not covered by the warranty even within the warranty period.
[About watches with high waterproof functions such as divers models]
Waterproof performance declines with age. In addition, advanced waterproof function testing requires the use of special equipment and confirmation through multiple processes. At our company, we use a simple waterproof tester to confirm the waterproof function, so we strictly guarantee the waterproof function. is not possible. [About the waterproof guarantee of antique watches]
It is difficult to maintain the original waterproof performance of antique watches due to the deterioration of the glass (windshield), crown, back cover, etc. over time, so we cannot guarantee the waterproofness of antique watches.
[About watches that cannot be guaranteed waterproof]
Even within the warranty period, the warranty does not apply to watches that are not covered by the waterproof guarantee, even if they are within the warranty period.
Article 22 (Compensation)
1. In principle, if damage or malfunction occurs due to our negligence, we will repair it.
2. If repair is not possible, the compensation price will be based on the lower of the remaining price after depreciation or the price of equivalent products currently on the market, not the purchase price of the product. up to 100,000 yen.

[Cancellation after receiving instructions to proceed]
As soon as we receive instructions to proceed, we cannot accept cancellations because we will start work immediately. We cannot guarantee the condition of the watch if it is canceled due to the customer's circumstances. In addition, we will charge the full amount of the estimated amount as a cancellation fee.
Article 24 (When contact with the customer is lost)
1. If we do not hear from you within one month from the date of issue of the quotation, we will treat the repair as canceled and we will return the watch to you.
2. When we receive an instruction from the customer to start repairing, and during the repair, additional parts to be repaired are discovered and an additional estimate is issued, and we do not hear from you even after one month has passed since the date of the estimate. , We will proceed with the repair only for the parts that you originally requested. However, if the additional repair requires the replacement of important parts, the entire request will be automatically canceled, but the repair fee will be charged. 3. Article 26 (Disclaimer)
1. Watchtender is not responsible for any loss of profit, damages arising from special circumstances, or damages based on a claim for compensation made to the customer by a third party under any circumstances. 2. In addition, Watchtender is not responsible for damages caused by loss or damage of repaired products due to the following reasons.
