Dubey & Schaldenbrand is a quietly held Swiss name that has kept watch collectors interested with classical manners and a distinct point of view.

The tonneau case that represents the brand has been brought down to a size that sits beautifully on a smaller wrist. The three-dimensional case line, curving smoothly towards the back, gives an exceptional fit while restating early 20th-century Art Deco in modern terms.

The dial is a deep black. Beautiful glass that turns almost seductive at certain angles sharpens the presence of the markers.

The distinctive Arabic numerals are boldly stylised and yet somehow endearing. Gold leaf hands run over them, and the red tip of the seconds hand gives the whole dial its movement.

The crown and the buckle are stamped with the brand's DS wing mark. Swiss watchmaking tradition lives in each of these small decisions.
