PATEK PHILIPPE Golden Ellipse ref.3849J cal.215 / Diamond Bezel, Blue Dial

The Golden Ellipse was designed on the golden section, the proportion regarded as ideal in European classical architecture and painting.

Pure and bold in form, it is one of the models that represent Patek Philippe.

A striking watch with 60 brilliant-cut diamonds, about 0.45 carats in total, set around the bezel.

Four diamonds are also set into the vivid blue dial as quarter-hour indexes.

The movement is the distinguished Cal.215.

At 27mm the Ellipse is small at a cuff, and yet it gives off a definite presence.

A rare model with very few in circulation.
