Piaget: an aesthetic of quiet innovation held in thinness.
Born in 1874 in La Côte-aux-Fées, Switzerland, Piaget began by making watch components and went on to open the untrodden ground where jewellery and watchmaking meet.
Its emblem is the Cal.9P, announced in 1957.
A manual movement just 2mm thick, it was a feat of world significance at the time, and Piaget's philosophy itself: raising thinness into freedom of design.
A watch fusing a bevelled case that calls the Cartier Tank to mind with an elegance that is Piaget's own.
Double-signed Cartier versions existed at the time, so you can feel a sharing and crossing of design codes — precious evidence of that era.
It is fitted with a rare solid strap carrying the playfulness and ambition typical of 1970s Piaget, which makes its character stand out even among watches of the same type: a watch for the connoisseur.
