About the brand｜エニカ

1913年、スイス・ラ・ショー・ド・フォン。アリスト・ラシーヌが創業しました。社名は「Racine」を逆から綴ったもので、1914年に登録されています。

1956年5月、ローツェとエベレストに挑んだスイス隊が携えたのがエニカのシーパール。同年11月、同社はネパールの案内人にちなむ「シェルパ」を商標登録します。1960年のシェルパグラフはジム・クラークらが愛用しました。

1970年代のクォーツ化に対応できず、1987年に破産。翌1988年、戦前からの香港の代理店だった華明行が商標を取得し、現在はアジア市場に名が残ります。
