— Glory written in the stars —

Since 1952 the Constellation has stood at the top of Omega's collections. The name means a group of stars, and the observatory relief stamped into the case back records the accuracy competitions Omega once dominated.

— A sunburst dial —

The dial carries a fine silver radiating sunburst finish that changes deftly with the light. Elegant baton markers with nothing wasted, and sharp dolphin hands crossing beautifully at the centre.

The star quietly placed at six states the pedigree without saying anything more.

— Supple on the wrist —

Running smoothly out of the case is the rice-grain bracelet that has become a signature of vintage Omega. Finely polished links, closely set, follow the wrist like silk. The raised Omega symbol on the clasp deepens the pleasure of owning a vintage watch.

— A legendary calibre —

Within the one-piece case is calibre 551, the top-grade automatic chronometer movement of Omega's golden period. Leaving out the date altogether was a deliberate decision in favour of pure symmetry and the beauty of simply keeping time.
