A watch that could only have come from the golden age of American watchmaking.

What makes it distinctive is the shape of the case lugs, made by S&W (Schwab & Wuischpard) — a design not seen on the company's other models. One imagines it was something special even among the solid gold pieces.

The construction is close to contemporary models such as the Hamilton Stormking and the Hamilton Rodney, and it has a softness that current watches simply do not have.

The movement is calibre Hamilton 735, finished with Côtes de Genève — the work of a maker with real momentum behind it at the time.
