— Proof of accuracy —
A pocket watch whose appeal is the composed face created by Breguet numerals and Breguet hands.
Cal.30, the calibre Buren was proud of: a high-precision movement conforming to chronometer standards.
A design in which Swiss tradition and technique are concentrated supports reliability down to the second.
A composed white-porcelain dial set off by Breguet numerals and blued steel hands. Fitted with the high-precision manual-wind Cal.30 (17 jewels), conforming to chronometer standards. A rare example housed in a beautifully lustrous Seiko-made (SKS) nickel case. Adjustment scales and careful finishing showing the functional beauty of Swiss watchmaking. A piece embodying a dignity and a discernment handed down across the years.
— The resonance of grey metal —
FINE NICKEL and an SKS mark within a fan can be seen inside the caseback, which suggests a Buren pocket watch housed in a Seiko-made case.
The nickel used for the case gives off a dull, soft lustre unlike either stainless steel or silver, producing a presence entirely its own.
— The quiet of silver-white —
Blued steel lifts out of the white porcelain dial, and the arrangement of Arabic numerals with the small seconds combines legibility with dignity.
— The aesthetics within —
The Cal.30 calibre has 17 jewels and careful bevelling, with A·R / F·S adjustment scales marked on the regulating mechanism, making mechanical precision visible.
— Time left behind —
A chronometer-grade pocket watch is more than something for everyday use: a piece that speaks quietly for the eye and the respect for time of whoever holds it.
